Details: In 2005, ILBIJERRI Theatre Company collaborated with the Victorian Department of Human Services, the Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation, and Hepatitis C Victoria to develop a play that would communicate Hepatitis C prevention and education messages to the Victorian Aboriginal community. 

CHOPPED LIVER will return revitalised in 2017 with content updated to communicate that a new cure is available in accordance with the Victorian Hepatitis C Strategy 2016-2020. The show continues to be relevant to Koorie audiences, especially at this exciting time of Direct Acting Antiviral availability to cure Hepatitis C in our community, with few side effects and 95% success rates.
